Claremont Marquees have given the National Trust at Clandon Park two  6m x 9m marquees for six weeks to help them with their open days after the devastating fire in April. Their email regarding the first open day follows:

“Just to let you know our first open weekend at Clandon Park was a huge success.  Thank you again so much for loaning us your marquees to make it so!  We put out in our press release that this was all possible thanks to the kind support of Claremont Marquees, and I mentioned you in all radio/ TV/ print interviews that I did last week.  I think that only the Surrey Advertiser picked it up though.  See http://www.getsurrey.co.uk/news/surrey-news/clandon-park-national-trust-staff-10035180.  Also some mentions of Claremont Marquees at Clandon on various local social media links.

I’ve attached two pictures of the marquees in use on Saturday – we’re going to pop these up on our Facebook page and will link to you. ”

We hope many others will be able to support the National Trust in getting Clandon Park back on it’s feet again. The shell of the building is still beautiful as is the park. Follow this link to book an open day visit.  We at Claremont Marquees feel a particular empathy with Clandon Park. Twenty years ago our warehouse burnt down and we really had a struggle to keep the business going.

Anyway we are still here, bigger and better, and if we can do it so can they!
